Geneviève is a mage who lives in the mage tower all her life, devoid of social life of the outside world. She never grew past her childhood, hence the cheekiness of a 10-year-old. Pretty much a crazed mage.

The previous painting had a nod to one of DaVinci's work, the Vitruvian man, so the commissioner thought it would be great if this one pays another homage to DaVinci's work: Lady with an Ermine. Except here is her ferret familiar, and the fact that she can't even sit quietly for a portrait session.
