"Jade Nightwind, a Drow fighter magic-user, felt that there was more to life than what was believed by his people, and so he set forth to explore. It was a solitary journey for him as most took him as a threat upon first meeting. During his wanderings, he came across a wounded Valdyr Stoutheart, a dwarven fighter-cleric. Expecting to be finished off, Valdyr was shocked and surprised that Jade came to his aid and cared for his wounds. It has taken both time for trust to develop, but develop it did. Now, neither hero doubts the other’s loyalty in battle although both are an odd couple, and as such, do get into heated discussions like two mismatched roommates. Both have joined a traveling company, led by a platinum blonde warrior and her healer sister, dedicated to seeking out and stopping an evil horde ravaging the lands and killing innocents."
