The cover depicts Pallas and Thea Stealle, who are siblings, along with their oldest brother Lloyd (see below, the guy with the copper armor). Pallas is a Captain in the Penwick Royal Navy, thus he wears a naval uniform. He wields a katana that he can light up with flames, like his brother Lloyd. Thea is the battlemage of the siblings, so she wears a mage robe with light protection.
That background oh my, the commissioner sent me a map and I made it somewhat accurate to it, since he specifically wanted the castle on the front page and the temple on the back page. Quite a headache, that one. Anyway I hope you like it !
