Continues the story of Hall, a guy trapped inside a massive virtual RPG game, playing as a sword-and-spear-wielding skirmisher. This is a litRPG genre, so reading it feels like playing a game! Also depicted is his companion, Roxhard, an axe-wielding dwarf.
An interesting note on this one is how they interact with each other. Troy (the author) wanted them in front of a cave, which is unusual compared to the previous covers. It will be strange if I pose them like a selfie, and it's no fun if both showing their backsides walking into the cave. I came with the 'bro-fist' idea when I found that Roxhard is waiting ahead of Hall, so they will be like "heeey finally, there you are! okay let's go in!" like in most RPG games, yes? NPC waiting in front of a cave forever waiting while you're busy killing those giant rats for a boring fetch quest. lol
