Audlbrecht the Watchman

Work for DeepDark Designs, Ltd. (deepdark-designs.co.uk/) who is a game design studio and publishing house that writes adventures and rule supplements for your favorite role-playing games. They wanted me to illustrate characters for a Dungeons & Dragons guide book called "Outclassed".

This time, I'm illustrating Audlbrecht, a Watchman class. Watchmen are vigilant guardians of the night who specialize in hunting down and opposing vampires, werewolves, witches, cultists, and other occult practitioners. They’re grim, determined, fearless, headstrong, and keen-eyed. They are usually crossbow masters, resistant to occult influences, and excellent interrogators. This particular one is an older, senior watchman who had been in many encounters, with some scars to show for it. One notable unique weapon he's carrying is probably the large bear trap, with its chain attached to his belt, so he could easily drag his catch right after. Face is loosely based on Stephen Lang.
